The Benefits of Cat Sitting

Leaving your pet alone can be daunting, especially when they are unfamiliar with their surroundings.

Unlike catteries, cat sitters offer in-home visits so your cat can stay in their happy place, surrounded by the things they're familiar with.

Leaving pets alone can cause seperation anxiety and leaving them in a strange place can result in your beloved cat getting stressed.

This is not the case with at-home cat sitting. Stress is significantly reduced and there is far less chance of your cat becoming lonely.

What’s more, with every visit, your cat becomes more relaxed as they get to know their sitter. They are no longer a stranger, but a friend that cares for them.

First and foremost Apollo Cat Sitting is a company that loves animals and is dedicated to their well being and happiness.

    FAQS

    Frequently Asked Questions

1How do I know my cat will be OK with a cat sitter??
In order to minimise any stress, your cat sitter should always take the time to find out as much as possible about your cat. They should ask about their routine, feeding habits, their likes & dislikes as well as any medical conditions.
2How long can I leave my cat alone?
Cats can be very independent animals, and as a general rule, cats can be left alone for around 24 hours. However, there are a few things you should consider before leaving your cat alone: Food, water, toilet, age, temperament, and health condition.
3How can I make it safe to leave my cat alone?
Even if you are leaving your cat alone for 24 hours, there are still a number of important things you should do to ensure its safe: 1. Ensure you leave plenty of food and water 2. Leave a clean litter tray. Owners may wish to leave multiple litter trays to ensure their cat has somewhere clean to their business. 3. Provide toys and entertainment so your cat doesn't get bored or lonely. This will also help prevent cats from getting up to mischief! If you plan to be away for longer than 24 hours, or are worried about your cats welfare, opting for Apollo Cat Sitting will mean you no longer need to worry.
    4Are you insured?
    5Is my property safe?
Unlike much larger cat-sitting companies, I do not display any logos on my car and do not wear a uniform. Instead, I keep it discrete so no one will know you're away.
